Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth

find reserves of strength that will endure

as long as life lasts. – Rachel Carson

Through photography, I immerse myself in a creative journey to see, feel, define, and preserve nature’s gifts and life’s fleeting moments. My focus on landscapes and small scenes serves as a restorative antidote to societal stresses. Annual childhood visits to Yosemite, hiking the John Muir Trail as a teenager, and touring the west’s National Parks with my husband and two daughters instilled in me a belief in the unlimited power and grandeur of nature.

I greatly appreciate my photographic mentors Eddie Soloway, Sam Abell, and Peter Bennett plus my primary image review team – my patient family!

Prior to my retirement, I performed as a classical singer, taught elementary students, and served as the principal of a California Distinguished School for the fine and performing arts in Los Angeles.
